I know most libertarians with a true approach to freedom regard this lady as a mistake and a disaster, but for me, as an UK-outsider, I cannot help remembering the Thatcher-Reagan years with some joy. In a world were despair is the norm and there is only different degrees of hell, it is easy to regard a conservative that in some cases actually reduced freedom as something good. That’s how starved on liberty and equality many of us have become. Thatcher and, in greater regard, Reagan, is two of the “greatest” leaders the western world have had, this does not make them good or something to follow. It does however say a lot of the others and about most people living in this world.
I’m keeping my thumbs crossed for a couple of revolutions. Hopefully we will get some true freedom fighters that really are great, until that time one still needs to have a half a good eye on Thatcher and her accomplishments even if she was a leftie in many regards.
The end is nigh and The Greatest Depression is closing in with millions of ferocious, unemployed, disillusioned and helplessly starving infected people erratically walking an unforgiving earth for years to come. Truth to be told we´re heading for a financial apocalypse because you, the people, believe in any tall tale The Powers That Be cables out. All we can do now is to wait for the fattest lady in history to sing the highest note ever heard...

Epilogue I (the end) – economic crisis summary
What about the future? What does it look like? As I have written before I can only see this ending in one out of two ways. Either the fast depression hitting us very soon or the one slowly creeping upon us. Just like ripping of a band-aid I would probably prefer the fast-hitting depression and that will probably not be as severe either since the amount of time to build all the stupidities even further becomes miniscule. I think it will be something in between, starting out slow but than gaining speed and hitting us with full force during 2010.
During all these predictions further down in this text, please remember that there are increasing protectionism and growing concerns and voices from the left side of politics demanding more and more socialism to stop the crisis those policies created. Dictators in South America together with revisionists and openly violent left groups will blame the “market” and the “rich” demanding power to the people (= dictatorship)
This will happen:
During this year another big crash/es will happen. I do not really think its going to be the stock markets. Those will come down during 2010. Instead I’m predicting a couple of more bubbles will burst. The low interest rates and the increase of money on the market suggest to me that one or several countries will follow in US steps and have a housing and real-estate crash. I’m a bit questioning about the dollar. Sure it should drop and collapse but will that really happen? Many economists thinks so, I’m not that convinced myself. I have no real rational explanation for it, more of a feeling. In either case I think the dollar also will survive 2009, during 2010 however…
We will continue to see things going up and going down. Sometimes a journalist or some evil politician will declare that the crisis is diverted. (take notice that this already have happened and that those people are almost always the ones representing a company that have done the most stupid things. SwedBank in Sweden have “experts” in papers today). Not even left-wing people will buy that crap and this summer and autumn will be a continuous downwards spiral of violence and massive demonstrations. More people will die and several of these will become martyrs of several violent action groups that will use the names as a way to fuel their anger. And keep a close eye on Hungary and Ukraine, fun things will most likely happen there. Also UK is in big trouble and this is also the most likely place were those first signs of hyperinflation will start to show.
During the end of summer and the fall many countries is going to throw even more gasoline on the fire and forms of more stimulus which also means more borrowing and more printing of money. During the same time one or two bubbles will burst which will “force” more governments/countries to follow and put together more “rescue packages”. Here we also see the first signs that those “ups” on the markets lessens and the “down” will get the upper hand.
Somewhere during this time one or several terrorist acts will come to be. I would guess some Muslim idiots will blow up a station in London and some right-wing extremists in the US will bomb some federal building. Maybe we will see even more than that. Several conspiracy buffs will as usual claim that governments are behind it and they might be right as lesser forms of marshal laws and curfews starts growing in size and become more frequent. And it wouldn’t surprise me if the new American president sees it fit to start yet another war in the Middle East. Actually I would bet money on it and with those oil prices going up and even more inflation from paying for yet another stupid war, the depression will hit even earlier and harder.
The Christmas will be pretty quiet and some of the last signs of normality will be shown. We will however se a 150-200% increase in suicides and many families will ignore buying presents which will be a sob-story in some newspapers and be a horrifying thing for mainstream idiotic economists still claiming we should spend, spend and spend. Please if you find any of these mainstream economic as-holes on your walks to find food in the future, please let a sign clearly point out were to stop and piss for the rest of us.
Somewhere around end of January or starting of February another crash will happen and from here it is really only downhill. This far I’m very sure about my predictions, but after this anything goes. Most likely several extremists and many funny parties around the world will rise to power enslaving people even further. More civil unrest and I wouldn’t rule out civil war in the US, if the dollar collapses during this time all those millions of US-soldiers all over the world will be more or less stranded. And in the mist of all this madness hyperinflation will struck and then… oh my….
Is there any hope left?
Basically no. Of course there are those who know how to fix the problems and sure there are some thousands of people in each country that understands fundamental math. Will someone listen? No, of course not. People never have before and it is hard to see why large masses suddenly should have an epiphany. Journalists will do what they always do, tell the story of the government. Business owners and entrepreneurs are in most cases in league with the power elite and those who aren’t are too few and have too little power to make a difference. Politicians are only interested in their power and even if they won’t be re-elected, nothing will change. I would argue that there is only two ways this might have a happy ending for the big majority, either that magical epiphany happens or some Aliens lands and show us the way. Both scenarios have about the same 0-percentage of happening. So the only realistic thing remaining is to do a ‘John Galt’ and/or move somewhere in order to start new and fresh.
I truly hope my worst fears are unfounded and that this somehow can be turned around in the future, at least before someone starts throwing nukes around. But if not, I know I’m going to have a lot of fun, nibbling on popcorn and watching all you headless chickens running around wondering what the hell happened and I will sit there with my sign stating those oh so funny words: “I told you so”.

The story continues II – economic crisis summary
When several journalists and politicians starting to say that a minor, almost totally harmless virus, might cause the economic recuperation slowing down and hurting the worlds economy, then you know things are really really bad. These sorts of things might show decline on certain countries tourist numbers, otherwise hardly even making a dent, but now it “came at the worst time”. Another sure sign on how bad things are is that prostitution all over the world is feeling a slope never seen before (well outside Madam spanks-a-lot’s dungeon anyways..). Regarded as a pretty recession safe industry, the sex trade is facing the worst figures ever seen. Some feminists might rejoice but prostitutes need to eat too and economically speaking this is a warning you should take seriously.
Several American and British cities/communes are using their own local money instead of the national currency. Some US citizens are even using the Canadian dollar, which is unheard of before.
In the US there is a growing movements talking about secession, refusing to take governmental money and in some cases people even talk about rebellion.
Countries all over is increasing the laws, the restrictions and imposing more regulations. Most noticeable are a growing control over one of the things that might take us out of the crisis, the Internet. Apparently it is more important to control information and the populace than economic recovery.
Also government are increasing their debts; many are drastically heighten taxes or will be forced to do so in the near future. Many countries already have or are at least planning to socializing companies and/or banks, very few seemingly knowing what to do next. In other words collectivists are having the best time ever. Since the fall of the Berlin wall totalitarian forces have been waiting for something new and now it is here and it is growing exponentially. Even before the crisis it was bad (which also coused the crisis in the first place) but this economic crisis seems to have managed what the Soviet Empire never could, collectivizing the world.
All the numbers are still falling, grated they are slowing down, but they are still falling and now from a much lower position. The only thing showing some improvements now and again are the financial markets. No surprise there since they get the extra loaned and printed governmental money first.
All this might sound bad, but a couple of fun things are missing in this equation. Firstly and most funny; hyperinflation! This is a risk at the moment, and it is growing for every time any of the central banks are conjuring up more money. Still not enough to create a Zimbabwe situation, but it is not far off and if all these stimuli don’t work (which they wont) politicians will not say they have failed, oh no, they will of course do the same again and again, building and building that risk, just as Japan have done for nearly 2 decades. This money-bubble is already great but the further down this road we go, the bigger it is going to get and the bigger the bang when it bursts.
The second thing to remember is all the personal debts most of us have accumulated. During and after the great depression most common people actually didn’t have debts. There were no such thing as credit cards and mortgages were hardly an issue. So today we have not only gargantuan governmental loans, we are all personally guilty of the same reckless spending.
Can you see all the funnies piling up in a nice little dung heap? And the really hilarious thing about all this is that this is in no way the last piece of this doomsday puzzle. Things are still going in the same direction, money supply keeps growing, financial bubbles are being created during the time you read this. The only answer the enemies of us all have left is to keep doing what they have been doing, but at a higher rate and with higher speeds. This is of course complete madness and it cannot last. The only question is when this is going to burst? And then the follow up: how bad will it be and how long will this depression last?

Prologue III (what have happen) – economic crisis summary
This crisis has been predicted beforehand by many economists and others (including myself). In other words there were, there are and there will be many people that know exactly what is going on even if journalists and politicians say the opposite. I have articles from the end of the 90’s I have written predicting much of what we see today. And since 2 year back I have been saying we first face a recession (which no one believed) and now we face a depression (which no one believe). And I’m not alone. Google Peter Schiff, Marc Faber or any of the others saying the same.
So what has happened so far?
- Restrictions, regulations, to high taxes and too many interventions from several governments have created and are still creating bubbles and strange markets around the glob. This is also the main reason for creating this current crisis (Read: Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae).
- However the crisis had never been so bad and it wouldn’t carry on for many years if it wasn’t for governmental borrowing and printing of money (today they play a wee bit with a computer, but you get the idea). This is what’s really concerning right now but also one of the reasons this crisis is so severe.
- Trade is way down and still dropping. For instance the Baltic Dry cargo index has never, in history, fallen more than the last year. Every figure is saying similar things. Still trade is one of the very few things keeping us going at the movement. Protectionism is rising, but slowly which is a good thing if you want to postpone the depression.
- Gold prices have gone up, not really as much as one would expect which is one of the reasons some people want to check the gold reserves in certain countries. India and China are buying gold and have announced they will continue doing so.
- The US dollar is overpriced at the moment and has been kept that way for some time now mainly thanks to China that has borrowed countless billions to the US and also has been instrumental in keeping the charade going. It is said that China hold 2/3 of its currency reserves bound to the dollar. This together with the history of the dollar is the only thing keeping appearances up. This will not and cannot last. And the question is if the American government really want it to last?
- Pretty much every government on the planet has issued complete mad spending sprees mainly on borrowed and newly printed money. Japan has been doing this twice or three times a year since the 80’s but is falling deeper and deeper and is today showing the worst economic results since WW II.
- The American corporate loans and bonds markets in America for example the defaulting (people not paying back the loans) is growing and the situation is very similar to what we did see with the real-estate market in the US 1,5 years ago. The next bubble to crash?
- In the US close to 30 banks and several important companies and businesses has fallen, no one is taking over their commercial space and some is saying this might be the next bubble to burst within the American economy.
- Great Britain is not only broke, it is worse than that. Even governmental bonds are not selling which is the closest thing a country can get to being Bankrupt, still the deficit seems to be around 10% this year. Civil unrest is growing even faster than the gigantic deficit. No wonder the government is calling back troops and asking military officers if they are willing to shoot at their own population.
- Many other countries are also suffering severely. Worst of in Europe is Ukraine and Hungary where both is pretty close to both economic collapse and civil unrest. Island might already have seen the worst in-house troubles but will continue the downward spiral together with the world economy.
- IMF has issued another nail in our collective coffin of screwed-up shit. Calling several “rich” countries to print money like crazy and give them to IMF so this idiotic institution can spread inflation and the depression all over the world.
- More and more voices are being heard for a “world currency” and many are talking about a “New World Order” including the British Prime Minister. Further feeding conspiracy theories.
- Increasing worries from Africa is being heard. Half the continent is showing signs of famine and malnourishment. If things get worse millions might die from starvation.
- The Muslim smurf Ahmadinejad is hitting his bongo drum now and again, North Korea is doing the same although hardly heard since people dies from starvation faster than they can carry out orders. Pirates are a big nuisance and in South America every other country seemingly getting their own Stalin wannabe.
I have certainly missed several things and I have hardly even mentioned all the companies having an economically hard time or already gone bankrupt. I however regard most of those things as symptoms of the illness and consequently secondary. I have neither focused on the particulars or the details on each stupid decision governments make, I see no real point, it is all bad.

The biggest fear of the enemy class!
Out of everything I have written and ever will write on this blog, this is probably the most important. I hope you understand this and I really hope you understand the ramifications of it. This is part III. Read Part I here. Read Part II here
After this post, if not before, I will have one or two agencies watching my cute little behind, because what the enemy class fears more than anything else is armed and pissed of citizens doing the rebellion thingy.
This is why governments (regardless of color) already have or are trying to outlaw self-defense
This is why you can get locked away with harsher punishment for striking down a robber than the punishment the robber gets.
This is why we are bombarded, from all directions, with so many complete mad sentences like: “It doesn’t matter who you vote for, just vote” or the classical: “He who doesn’t vote, shouldn’t complain”. Why shouldn’t it matter!? Why shouldn’t I complain!?
People that can vote no, but also can say no and put power behind those words are the biggest fear those with power will ever have. The founding fathers of United States understood this fully, writing in the right to bear arms into the constitution and talking about a duty to overthrow any government taking too much power away from the people.
Sadly most of the revolutions and rebellions seen have been mobs overthrowing a horrid government, but imposing similar or even worse stupidities themselves. You cannot really complain over the Russian or Cuban revolutions, oppressed people killing of their torturer cannot be regarded as something wrong. That those idiotic revolutionaries started even bloodier and even more oppressive regimes is sad and kind of strange. Why would people want more of the same thing they rebelled against? There have been semi-successful ones, but the only one really standing as a testament of true success is the American Revolution. I truly hope the American people soon take to arms again, it is time to stand up and say no and start picking off governmental officials. Yes, I’m talking about thinning the horde and yes that’s going to be necessary. No government has ever nor ever will give up their power voluntary. The same goes for any country in this world with people who wants to be free.
Do the dance, write a declaration of freedom and justice and see to it that no one can break those basic principles. Make sure that the rights to bear arms and equality for all man is writing down and make sure no one can take those rights away. Just as the Americans did, but with even more power and certainty. No smug well spoken pastor of collectivism should ever be able to change those basic laws.
Do not believe for a second that your government - no matter where you live or what country you are from - will not hurt or kill you. All of them will. You might not believe me, but try to break the most harmless law and then stand up for yourself against the government and you’ll see for yourselves. When this great depression hits us soon you will need to make a choice. More totalitarianism and promoting the enemy class, or freedom. If you choice freedom, be prepared to fight for it.

The secret will be revealed here.
Let me break this down to all you idiots out there. In order to gain weight, you need to eat more energy than you lose. In order to lose weight you need to do away with more energy than you eat. This goes for everything you can eat so yes, you can get fat on bananas, apples and kiwis if you eat hundreds of them and do nothing during the day except lay perfectly still in bed hardly wiggling your toes. And you can get thinner living on pizza and hamburgers and going out party every night as long as you work out several times a day.

Now stop buying newspapers that is writing crap about diets and food and/or send them this URL so journalists also can understand basic fact.

The piggy depression
We had the economy going again, but darn, an almost completely harmless virus had to mess up our plans. Inflation, borrowing, messed up markets and this wee little crisis was all going to work out, then suddenly some piggy (well, mostly human, but “pigs” sounds better) virus messed things up again. Oh, well at least we have something to blame now when the depression soon hits us. I wonder if the general public is stupid enough to buy this swine-story? Yeah… of course they are…

Great fun from Gerald Celente
I think this man is among my new favorites. Hilarious things. Gerald Celente is a United States trend forecaster and author, and CEO of The Trends Research Institute founded in 1980. He is noted for predicting the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union. There is a lot of people calling him an idiot. Maybe he is, maybe not, this piece however is great fun About

Is secession going to be a natural step?
Something that has been written very little about in Europe, is growing movements and several debates in the US about secession. Secession means that a state or a part of a state can secede from the rest of the state or the entire union. These discussions have been fueled by the growing Tenth Amendment movement which have many followers.
The Tenth Amendment
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
There have been several meeting within the North American Secessionist Convention. Although mostly liberal and mostly tired of foreign wars and such, this is also something to add to the mix.
Texas Governor Rick Perry have suggested Texans might at some point get so fed up they would want to secede from the union.
Of course most of this is just talk, but this growing movement and increasing voices will be more and more heard as the crisis goes on and Obama’s socialism gain further momentum. Something to keep an eye on in the future.

The third biggest fear of the enemy class
Out of everything I have written and ever will write on this blog, this is probably the most important. I hope you understand this and I really hope you understand the ramifications of it. Part II. Read Part I here.
He who controls the flow of information also controls the world - this I do believe most of you out there understand. Still most of you sit quite and say nothing when the flow of information get tightened more and more with restrictions and regulations being imposed almost on a daily basis. And those that are supposed to monitor the power elite, journalists, does hardly nothing. I promise you all that there are lots of fun stories to be found if you just search a little. An old lady being stalked out by the secret police for writing “Hitler” in an email or some poor smuck being black-listed for reading about bombs online and without knowing it hardly ever getting a job again. Things like this have already happened or are happening right now. Promise. How can I be sure without having proof? Because this is how the government and its thugs “works”. Not only are “mistakes” like the ones mentioned going to happen, sometimes they will be intentional because agencies and the surveillance system needs to show results. If they cannot find any terrorists, they need to show they are putting the money to good use so they don’t get less founding the next year. As I have written before, this is one of biggest absurdities of our entire system. A governmental entity needs to show it is doing stuff, show results and needs justification towards other entities and the best way to do this is to waste money.
IPRED; ACTA and FRA and other laws to control information is just the start, no person in their right mind will believe anything else. Firstly “mistakes” will happen, those need to be “corrected” hence not only correcting within the governmental entities doing the prodding and monitoring, the laws also needs readjusting. Secondly technology evolves therefore new laws will be required. Thirdly the economical crisis will continue, maybe even worsen or maybe even real terrorist attack will happen and from that we need harder punishments and more laws to “protect us” and so on. And lastly, and most importantly; He who controls the flow of information also controls the world.
This is what’s at stake when we are talking about Piratebay, file-sharing, 1984-society or anything else you might read about. It is not about some thief’s trying to watch a movie for free; it is not about catching terrorists or finding child-molesters. It is about control. No matter how anyone tries to explain it, no matter how many lawyers or entertainment executives say’s anything different, it is about control. Think about the latest swine flu thingy or any other news with potential to be “scary”. If you cannot visit certain sites, if all information that comes is from government, how will you ever find out the truth? And even if you still do, do you have the guts to write it? You domain might be closed down, a sudden new law might make you liable for slander, or just the fact that agencies might be reading and visiting you might be enough to keep you quite. There are already voices being heard that want to outlaw certain bloggers and/or certain opionions online. Do you really think those voices are the last ones?
Even if you think all this sounds like I’m one of those believing a giant hedgehog is stalking me, imagine all the laws and all these new/enhanced agencies and then imagine a economic depression with all the political turmoil that comes with it or that some well-spoken totalitarian gains control at the parliament. And then imagine all this surveillance in those hands and situations.
The third biggest fear of the enemy class is that people thinks for themselves, that you, all of us, have access to free information and can formed opinions faster than the propaganda can tell it’s version. And it is a justified fear because informed and well educated people are far less inclined to believe in what journalists or governments tell them. Don’t let them take this away from us. And to you journalists out there, start digging, use your mandate and go do your job, you will find fun stuff, promise.

Africa starving - crisis continues and some swine's
Anyone else noticed the subtle and slow turnaround in the media coverage of the swine flu? Slowly but surely one journalist after the other comes crawling with nicer words saying we might wanna take it easy. Also notice how the news about the swine flu have started to go down in size from several pages to one or two and on the papers Internet sites the news are not always the first you see/read when going to the URL anymore. They are still milking it of course, but you can notice a difference. And CDC/WTO suddenly tries to dampen the hysteria, before doing everything in their power to increase it. I also have noticed several bloggers, mainly from the left flank, that earlier blamed the Swedish government for not doing enough and said we should prepare, now all of a sudden they are talking about how everything is blow out of proportion. What happened? If you use the internet to find news, also try and use it to find alternative view-points and check what have been done before during similar newsbreaks.
Governments everywhere is trying to restrict, bound and control the Internet, just for preventing us from finding out the truth about things. If it wasn’t for the Internet, even more people would be running scared and those several pages of propaganda would still be in our faces. Is it surprising governments want to control this waste information channel? It is power. Use it, while you can.
One very neglected place and what this entry really is about is Africa and what is going on in several countries in Africa at the moment. There is actually rising poverty and increasing hunger fears at levels equivalent to the economic crisis. While mainstream economists, governments and even stock-brokers is starting more and more saying that the turnaround is here, that the crisis is easing off, the curves in Africa is not pointing upwards (which they aren’t in our part of the world either). This is because in the real world the crisis isn’t turning around, it is just temporarily halted. Thanks to fictive bubbles created by money printing and enormous state-loans the market is “tricked” and thru governmental take-over’s unemployment is kept down a bit demanding even more loans and more printing of money. Also remember that rates are very low which means that people earn more money spending them than saving them, keeping the scam rolling. What will most likely happen now is that we are going to stand still for a half a year or so, markets going up and down from day to day. This until all the inflationary money really hits the markets or some event triggers a new downwards spiral. If you take a look at the corporate loans and bonds markets in America for example the defaulting (people not paying back the loans) is growing and if the speed takes off, that’s the next bubble that will bursts and then; hello depression!
So on the day of collective thinking, or the day after, depending on your time zone, take a couple of seconds and look at these countries and really see all the millions of dead-people-walking soon to be the victims of this crisis. Africa isn’t really that effected by “our” depression, but it will be enough for most of these already living on the edge.
Congo
An estimated 50 percent of the country’s four million citizens are living below the poverty line on the equivalent of $1 a day. The calorie intake of 39 percent of households is lower than the minimum daily recommended level of 2,000-2,500. Twenty-six percent of children under five years of age are chronically malnourished; 33 have iron deficiency. Some 13 percent of the population has an iodine deficiency, while vitamin A deficiency is running at 47 percent.
Kenya
Alarming levels of malnutrition are being recorded in children between six and 59 months old in the north-eastern region of Mandera, which is grappling with successive droughts, high food prices and a scarcity of water.
Madagascar
Three consecutive years of drought and meager harvests have put thousands in the southern areas of the country down on the slippery slope to hunger, and the children usually go first. And the political situation doesn’t help either.
And these are only three countries that are suffering because of protectionism from richer countries and in-house authoritarian policies. When this crisis goes on, which it will, and when (not if) it turns over to a full depression these people are going to die. If I’m right most of these people have a year, at the most, to live. The enemy class is responsible for this, but you are too, not only have you voted for those in charge, you also don’t even try to understand or know what’s really going on in the world. For most of these people it is already too late, this depression will happen, no matter what you do, but maybe there will be a next time and maybe then you have learned something.

Ancestral hangover food
What did our ancestors eat when they had a severe hangover? I mean did the caveman woke up and got himself some tasty salty Woolly mammoth thigh? I’m finding it hard to believe humankind could evolve without pizza and kebab.
1st of May, the celebration of Gulag camps
Many millions of people are singing and doing rallies today in order to support a system that never has and never will work. Most of the worst crimes of history have been accompanied with the same songs and the same ideas. One of those crimes was the Gulag camps, mostly forgotten by people since socialists everywhere always see to it that they bury the dead and then don’t talk about it. The same thing would probably happen to Hitler and the Holocaust if it wasn’t for the convenient turnaround making National Socialists “right-wing” and with that label they of course need to be spoken about as often as possible.
What was Gulag? “GULAG” is an acronym for the Soviet bureaucratic institution, Glavnoe Upravlenie ispravitel’no-trudovykh LAGerei (Main Administration of Corrective Labor Camps) that operated the Soviet system of forced labor camps. Gulag camps existed throughout the Soviet Union, but the largest camps lay in the most extreme geographical and climatic regions of the country from the Arctic north to the Siberian east and the Central Asian south. Prisoners “work” was typically unskilled, manual, and economically inefficient. The combination of direct shootings form the guards, extreme climate, hard labor, meager food rations and unsanitary conditions led to extremely high death rates in the camps. It is hard to accurately calculate the exact number of dead within the GULAG, but the toll is in the millions, most likely tens of millions.
We should never forget this crime as well as the madness of Pol-Pot or the biggest killer of all, Mao Tse Tung. But somehow these rallies on the 1st of may still go on today, in many countries they are even national holidays. National holiday to celebrate the main killer of all ideologies; socialism. Isn’t that nice?

The second biggest fear of the enemy class
Out of everything I have written and ever will write on this blog, this is probably the most important. I hope you understand this and I really hope you understand the ramifications of it.
Money was once upon a time connected to objective value (gold, silver) and was used in order to trade gods between people. Instead of exchanging crops for virgins or buying apples with the corresponding amount of fish, you had money that was accepted as currency by both parties. Naturally people choice something tangible and valuable as money namely precious metals. This was so for the reason that gold (for instance) could be melted down and made into jewellery but also because the commodity was in short supply. Gold was sought after not only for its ability to transform into other objects, it was also beautiful and it came in smaller supply, hence it has a direct value attached.
During time and with Guttenberg’s invention this gradually changed. Firstly banks created notes that in reality was I-owe-you‘s that corresponded to the amount of gold the bank held for you. Sometimes banks printed more IOU’s than they had gold for, which seldom worked out very well. But later on came government banks, central banks, and said; “we are in charge and we will decide how many notes there are in the economic system”. Still they kept to gold as a measurement though and consequently couldn’t print as many notes they wanted, they needed to stay within the confines of the gold standard. This is course was not doable for governments needed extra cash for wars and more money for those crying masses that had started shouting for more “free stuff”. So the gold standard was phased out and the government kept the gold… Politicians now had a very powerful tool in their hands; the printing press. This is probably the “greatest” political victory of all time and politicians everywhere are still rejoicing and celebrating having the power over money. Now day’s money is only notes, they are not even IOU’s anymore; they are just worthless pieces of paper not even suitable to wipe your ass with. The only thing attached to money now is the “good word” of the state. As long as the government doesn’t overstep its boundaries the notes can be used for exchanging gods, but there is no value in coins and bills.
What you need to know here is that the power to print money comes with subtle taxation. Let’s say that the general tax is 40% and the government prints a lot of more money. What happens? Since the amount of money increases in the system, the ‘value’ of each coin/bill goes down, but the tax stays the same. Do you see what happened? Your tax is suddenly higher! Nothing seemingly changing, the tax is still 40% but your money, your bills and coins, are worth less hence you have just got an increase in the ‘value’ you are paying to the government. This is why the enemy class love this! Everyone, even communists, knows that you cannot tax people over a certain level. But with a printing press (today pressing a key on a computer) you can increase taxes without anyone noticing it. This is why you can get higher salary and still get less for your money! This is why you can work harder, better, faster and more effectively but still cannot afford things!
The day people in general figure this out, big governments and representatives of the enemy class will have a much tougher time. And to bring back the gold standard or even real money in the form of gold-money and such, that would mean the end of government’s biggest and most malevolent weapons. Nothing (with one exception) would make these people cry harder than if this happened.
If this extra taxation was the only “negative” thing about this scam, we would still be pretty okay. It is bad and it keeps production and the willingness to work down a bit, however it is not the end of the world. But in steps the next fun chapter in this saga: The bubbles and the strange price signals! Basically you get strange high and lows on the market when more money becomes available and prices goes up seemingly without any real reason. In combination with peoples less willingness to work since their efforts don’t get them anywhere, this means that you create fictive values on some companies; stock markets may go up without an increase in productivity and so on. And when this happens again and again you inflate the bubble, just as you exhale into a balloon, and just as a balloon it can break.
I hope you now understand that increasing the money supply within an economic system this way, as described, is one of the most dangerous things a government can do, the more money and the shorter the timeframe until the money hits the market, the worse it gets. And what are governments all over the world doing to get us out of this current crisis we are in? Yeah, you guessed it…

Increasing kill ratio day
Today in many parts of the world the lefty’s takes to the street in rallies against poverty, injustice and other things they themselves have created. This is the bloodiest of all days, a day that should be a reminder about holocausts, death-camps and wars the socialists have created and keeps creating. Instead people with intellect barely corresponding to their shoe size prance around like magnificent horny peacocks waving their bloodstained flags around like Gulag never happened. If one does not count religion as an ideology, all the -ism to the left (socialism) are the most horrific things mankind ever conjured up. Not only do we have the pure National Socialism and communism which have murdered hundreds of millions of people, we also have the “lighter” form of socialism which is pretty much the same as fascism and probably is responsible for even more deaths than the purer forms. This because the policies of big governments is the main reason for poverty and starvation and more people dies from unnecessary starvation and regular oppression than from wars and death-camps.

Undoubtedly these black-hearted destroyers will blame the ‘market’, the rich and some elusive forcers for unemployment and the financial crisis. They will also argue for more government, more restrictions, more control and more regulations. Like this authoritarian world haven’t enough of that already. Hiding their malicious evil behind beautiful words like “equality”, “justice” and “solidarity” they will also say we all must come together and work for a better future. Of course never mentioning that what they really are talking about is that some should be more equal than others, that justice should come from the state and that solidarity is going to be forced upon people.
So those of you out there that actually have a brain, do as I normally do. I usually walk past one of these rallies and start sending out thoughts remembering and honoring all the dead, raped, molested and tortured that have fallen victims under those red flags. It do not help those already dead or the needy in the world and I’m not religious, but it still feels good “sending a message” instead of puking and get horrified over all those murderess lefties wanting to increase the kill ratio even further.

Killer pigs - final one, promise...
Oh, I know I said I would leave this piggy fever thingy alone. But this is way too funny to let it slide by. Apparently this is a horror movie from the 70's and I just need to buy this one. Imagine this going on you TV while you are reading some text from a idiot journalist that is declaring that the resent swine flu might kill millions... I cannot stop laughing and I haven’t even seen the movie yet.

Amazing what some vodka and a short kid’s movie clip can do for your day… ;)

Wanna shiver me timbers?
The pirates are gaining support which is a good thing. Forces trying to stop the totalitarian society we are heading for must be saluted. However one poll don’t really say that much and those saying they are going to vote or are member also needs to get out and really vote comes election day.
I still have some concerns with the pirates regarding their experience and in particular their overall political agenda. Inside EU they might do some good, but they seriously need to look at their agenda and enhance it before even considering going for the Swedish parliament. But they have kind of surprised so far and might continue to do so.
In all probability I won’t vote at all, as usual, since voting implies a support to an infectious and horrible system. But if I would, to the European Parliament, the pirates would get my cross on the ballot paper.

Most of you are idiots – I'm going back to the real world
This is going to be my last entry about this swine flu thingy. Since there are much more important things going on in the world and this minor flu is hardly even worth mentioning. But since most of you out there like to be spooked and seemingly loving big governments coming to the rescue, I kind of enjoy putting you baboons down. But enough is enough. There are real diseases, war, financial crisis and a lot of other stuff that is million times more deadly and much more important to put some light on.
a summary:
About 500 000 people die from flu each year
In US about 36 000 people die from flu each year
Recently, during a week (April 12-18, 2009), the American CDC confirmed 25,925 cases of influenza in the United States and 55 child deaths. No scary stories about that? Why?
In UK it is about 5000 people
In Sweden about 1500 people.
2500* people are suspected of having/had swine flu so far
There are 100 (9 according to WHO)** confirmed dead and 170** suspected dead from this flu.
(*depending on what news you read, I selected the Lowest number I could find)
(**depending on what news you read, I selected the Highest number I could find)
Let say all the dead are from swine flu and that all infected have/had swine flu. Let also say all the dead were healthy vigorous people. This would be the worst case scenario and is extremely unlikely. IF this is the case the risk of dying is 6,8%. I play those odds in a second. As I have said before, if any doctor or institute what’s a test subject, I VOLONTEER to infect myself. Just pay my buss/train/flight and I’ll be there.
And to further put things in perspective, if this goes on for a while and the death toll rises up towards thousands, maybe even tens of thousands, it is still NOTHING. Tuberculosis or malaria kills more than that each month. People die from starvation by the hundreds of thousands and we have war, poverty and all the other fun things that exist in this world. And the risk of you dying in traffic or by an accident in your own home is still far far greater. In other words, why do you idiots even care about a minor flu?
And finally, even IF this is so terrible as journalists and governments are trying to make you believe, isn’t life more worth living without worrying about some illness that may or may not infect you with a absolute maximum of 6,8% death rate?
Now I’m going back to the real world, if you maniacs still think this is so deadly and horrible, do me a favour and seek out a psychiatrist, you obviously have some issues that needs to be resolved. Maybe you can get some happy pills?

A cautionary tale about weight
One very popular topic very often used to fill out a newspaper is articles about weight, more to the point; weight-loss. The weight issue might be applied in several ways. One way is to show pictures of a thin model that perform the act of gluttony once a day with one carefully selected environmentally friendly salad leaf. Then journalists can sit back as horrified hamburger eaters and overweight soccer mums do all the work. Another way is to conjure up some obese woman (preferably famous) that can go on whatever diet is popular at the moment and a couple of months later she can proudly proclaim she has lost the equivalent of 4 pizzas in weight. One week later she has of course gained all weight again which will be ignored in another article later the same year where this woman declares her war against fat.
Among feminists this is also a very popular topic since, apparently, every other paper at the store is filled with either plastically altered porn stars or skinny and unhealthy models. “No normal woman looks like that” – is a very common phrase. After that statement comes the obligatory women-under-pressure debate and the conclusion; that it is those dreadful people with penis who should be blamed for women being paraded in this awful way with unnatural low weight.
I once upon a time attended a couple of university courses about feminism and gender research. For some reason I was one out of two men attending and for another peculiar reason at the end of every “debate” the vast majority of vulva-persons all turned towards us two penis-people looking for some kind of confirmation, perhaps proving a part of their own point. I always, happily and frankly, declare myself being on the opposite side which started a new debate in a more pleasant tone. During one such occasion, talking about underage skinny models, a petite female so thin you could probably blow her across the room if you turned on a fan, turned towards me and said I always claimed the things I said because I was a man. I suppressed a feeling of exhaling hard in her direction and instead told her that I only stood by my belief and if she argued that my opinion was because of my gender she was committing the same crime she accused me for. But on one occasion I was actually in total agreement with the overwhelming female horde, regarding all those diets thrown around. We all agreed that diets seldom tell the basic and obvious truth that most seem to ignore; you need to use more energy than you eat in order to lose weight.
So if you want to be a perky copulator or fit into your old pair of jeans again, this is the only really good advice you need. How you go on doing this in reality, is up to you. If you exercise more or eat less/better or a combination you might lose weight. If you however think that nibbling on some diet-sticks or drinking some disgusting fluids makes you thinner, you are an idiot.

Malevolent journalists – the swine’s of the story
Journalists (most of them) are the laziest people you will ever meet. To my knowledge it’s hard to even find public employees doing less.
How do journalists “work”? For the most part – at least when it comes to news from other countries – it goes something like this: One journalist somewhere in the world finds a story, writes something from his/her perspective and then sells the story to Routers, some newspaper or similar institutions. Those institutions then have agreements and collaborations with other journalists, TV-stations and so on, consequently selling the story further along. Maybe some reporter will be send out if the story is worth it, otherwise they print and say pretty much the same thing as their counterparts. The same flow can be found travelling from the “sources” of governments and big businesses wanting their story to be told. Very seldom (often only locally) journalists goes out in public and search, dig and “get” the story for themselves. In other words most stories you get to read, hear or see have been passed down through several stages and often been translated in the process.
The other way journalists “work” is to play with words in order to enhance the story. And this they are actually very good at. Let me give you a couple of examples: A hurricane becomes a “Killer Hurricane!” massacring everything in sight and the worst force ever seen. In reality however 2 fishermen foolishly going out in a dingy drowned and an old man has died from a falling tree that should have been cut down years ago. But maybe my favourite is “cancer” and everything you can attract this disease from. Chips, crips, tomatoes, alcohol, the sun, solariums, fatty food, the TV, your computer, your cell-phone, electrical and magnetic fields, tobacco, several different building materials, fabric softener and many many many other things have been said to cause cancer. Often a newspaper quotes some pseudo-scientist that wouldn’t get a job in the real world, but thanks to governmental founding he/she can deliver some study that shows that people eating 30 000 tomatoes more than is normal have a 15% higher risk of attracting cancer. Of course the study leaves out whether or not these people with higher risks are chain-smokers and/or live near Chernobyl. But newspapers grasp things like this in a heart-beat, throwing up headlines like “Tomatoes causes Cancer!” Inside the paper you can read how many tomatoes you can eat before it becomes a problem and an extra interview with some frighten mum claiming she will never feed her young tomatoes again. Building on this story for a couple of days people – baboons as most of them/you are – starts to wonder if tomatoes really are dangerous and sells will drop for a couple of months.
This Swine flu is consequently pure gold! Ignoring pretty much every fact and only showing people walking around in gas-masks and only interviewing frighten hypochondriac’s journalists can deliver news that sounds like the seventh seal have been broken and the end is near. Adding to these stupidities are governmental officials rushing to “save us” and international organs that need to justify their existence. Increasingly louder voices for boarder patrols and warnings issued by different governmental institutes further enhance this madness. For each day that passes the scariness increase and more and more people ask if they can eat pig-meat.
Again I need to ask you all; how stupid are you? IF the death toll goes up towards tens o thousands we are starting to get close to a pandemic one might worry about but even then this is nothing. There are millions of things that you should worry about if you feel the need to. You own home for instance. Did you know you are far more likely from dying or ending up in a serious accident in your home than anywhere else? It is true. If you really need something to be afraid of, be very afraid of living at home!
Thanks to some independent media and the bloggosphere you can at least learn the truth if you want to. And try to ask yourself, in this case and in others: why are governments trying to control the Internet? Yeah, that’s right…

I’m changing bank, and so should you
I’m getting really tired of Swedish banks. They failed miserably during the late 80’s and early 90’s “needing” a bailout and in some cases a government takeover. Despite making billions in profits during the last ten years or so they again are in trouble having made bad investments and not putting the earlier profits to good use. And again a couple of them “need” governmental support. Most of them must have monkeys employed; well actually a monkey would probably get it more right. Economy is in either case not one of their strong points. To a large extent this is governments fault. If businesses know that if they are in trouble the tax payers will come to the rescue, they will of course be less prudent with money and take higher risks.
And thanks to the complete stupidity of the Swedish central bank there is now hardly any reason to save money anymore which means that they have created another crisis that will worsen the situation. So you cannot really blame a couple of banks if they lower the rate on savings, in some cases down to ZERO. But it is really annoying to see a failing bank (I’m a customer at) first making horrible decisions anyone with normal intellect could tell them is the wrong ones, then they crawl to the government to gain support, asking their own customers and the rest of the taxpayers to bail them out, and now they are saying that anything I save will not generate any additional savings rates. This is too much. Why the hell did we not let these bastards fall, crash and burn earlier? And why are the government supporting and helping these monetary failures again!? Let them go bankrupt already.
I’m not completely sure which bank I’m going to change to, but at least Handelsbanken is making a profit and so far not needed and don’t want to be a part of any governmental support, so that’s one option. There are of course others and the first thing I’m going to do after work today is to find a suitable one, and so should you.
Do not support a business that takes your money and gives nothing back except making you pay them again thru bailouts and other stupidities.
Do not keep your savings or your business at a bank that clearly doesn’t know how to calculate basic math.
Do as I will do, change bank. If you have a savings account or a business account with SEB or the even more horrifying idiocy of SwedBank, leave them. Close down your account and go somewhere else. And do it now!
Please help out in bringing these losers and their stupidity down.
And if you can; make the government understand that we do not want to pay for the mistakes banks makes. Your tax money should not go to bail out failures.
Do it today or as soon as possible.

I volunteer – infect me
I still find this swine-flu thingy very amusing in a tragic-comical kind of way.
Any normal year a half a million people worldwide dies from flu, why aren’t those pandemics? Suddenly a hundred or so Mexican may have died from one of many strings of flu (so far not completely confirmed that it is all courtesy of the swine one) but seemingly almost every infected get well and walk away with no problems. But if you reed the news it is still Armageddon, and people still gets scared.
Each day more people dies in traffic than ten times the amount of infected swine-people. The amount of deaths so far hasn’t even reached the number of dead from physical pig attacks yet for Boar’s sake! I really hope that all those people the newspapers are writing about are the only ones out there that really are frightened, otherwise the worlds collective intelligence is lower than even I thought, and I had you all pegged slightly over the amoeba. No wonder you all love being controlled and completely govern by malevolent politicians, apparently most citizens aren’t even capable of a rational thought.
In addition to this, have you seen the “advice” we are getting? Wash the hands. Really? I shouldn’t ignore that? Don’t be picking in your face with dirty hands. Nah? Don’t travel to Mexico if it can be avoided. Why? If any of you idiots out there wants to give away your ticket, give it to me, I’ll go in a heart-beat.
If any doctors out there need a test subject, send me an email. I volunteer to infect myself with this swine flu on purpose. The odds on surviving this minor sickness is apparently staggeringly high – if the reports about all sick people are sick from the same flu. And if, against all odds, I would happen to die, at least I can leave with some time to spare before the looming depression hits us with full force. And IF this turns in to a new ‘Spanish Flu’ with the equivalent of 50 millions dead, I pledge to eat 25 bags of crisps each day for 20 years in order to enhance my risk of getting cancer by 30%. Promise.

Faces of tomorrow
Exchange the word ’great’ to the word ’minor’ everywhere and ad ’so far’ wherever you see fit. In a way this is our future, but in another way ours will be far far worse.
Conscription for females
For those that do not know it, in Sweden we still have compulsory military draft. I did one year in that sand-box and, among other things, learned to shoot with and handle twenty or so weapons which was kind of cool, but it is still a huge waste of time. Now day’s this isn’t really compulsory for everyone since the Swedish government/s need to save money for more necessary project like owning real-estate in Siberia, growing fish in the Baltic sea and increasing politicians salaries. But even if most today escape military service this involuntary labour demanded by a malevolent authority is pure slavery, nothing else.
But now a brilliant suggestion by communists and socialists in Sweden is stating this is unfair to women. Women should also be enslaved. According to this dazzling suggestion - attempting to turn around the lefties dwindling voting support – all women are also supposed to go thru the same assortment process so they might be selected to learn how to crawl in mud. I’m guessing there is a feminist thing behind this, but I still kind of like it. Of course military service should be completely voluntary and a professional force is most likely a better killing machine, but if this kind of waste of money, waste of time while being coerced by the government is being imposed on one gender, why not the other? The fact that most women wouldn’t handle carrying 70lbs walking 1 mile each day and that there is some facility problems don’t stop me from saluting this suggestion. This entry is only about 50% irony because idiocy all around is fairer than idiocy only for those with a penis. Besides, if the communists ever get to power they could need some extra people to guard their camps and honestly, speaking as a man, it would be worse being guarded, tortured and killed by women than of my own gender.
Let’s face it, women with guns is sexy!

The worst is yet to come
We are in the preliminary phase of one of the greatest conflict in history, quite possible the greatest of them all. Time and again humans of this earth have laid their trust in awful regimes, oppressive tyranny and monstrous ideology. Why? Why have the waste majority, time and again, been ruled by dictatorial warmongers whom do nothing except impose more laws and create more hardship? We have learned nothing from history and in the words of one of America’s greatest men talking about the holocaust and WW II we cannot say those two ending words:
“And then, rising above all this cruelty, out of this tragic and nightmarish time, beyond the anguish, the pain and the suffering for all time, we can and must pledge: Never again.”
I’m not referring directly to Darfur, former Yugoslavia or Iraq. Inexcusable as those crimes may be, they still do not hold a candle to the worldwide plague of collectivism and big governments. Since the dawn of agriculture those of us using our grey matter have known that there is enough food and work for all humans, still people starve by the millions, work is scarce and the lives of billions are under the thumb of malevolent institutions that claims to be saviors.
Anyone reading the journals of human history with an intellectual approach will find that the latest 250 years have both been humanities finest but also most terrible. Finest because we learn how to produce, how to live civilized and how to respect our fellow man. Terrible because so many have listened to those who say we all need to share and that we need to put our trust on the whims of government. No government have never and will never be anything else than a bunch of parasitical thief’s that thrives on the backs of all those it rule. Politicians do not produce wealth; they only redistribute wealth, and in doing so increasing the cost several times over. When a politician gives you something, it is you and your neighbor that pays for it, again several times over. Government cannot create jobs, government do not know how you should live your life. Still almost every person on this planet believes that governments can give them things and make their lives easier. Why?
The peril we stand in front of now might be our biggest challenge ever. Hitler’s tyranny and the Soviet Empire were formidable foes, but most people realized this and took a stand against it. Now we have a much sneakier enemy creeping upon us without us hardly realizing it. Slowly but surely states and governments have been increasing their power several times over in just a couple of decades. This slowly imposing menace is growing accompanied by nice sounding words like “healthcare”, “Save the poor” and “solidarity”. Or in regards to Internet they use carefully selected euphoniums like “child-pornography” to make us more willing to obey their reasoning for monitoring and controlling us. Each year governments everywhere expand the law and increase their power. Each year politicians dupe people into believing in the comforts of totalitarianism.
I believe we have forgotten our ancestor’s cries for democracy, freedom and equality mainly because we live comfortable lives. We are richer, live longer and most aspects and in most countries we are still more free than those people that came before us. And who doesn’t want to save the needy, the hungry and the ill? We all do. So when some smug well-spoken pastor of collectivism bombards us with horrific images of the starving and show statistic about unemployment our first gut feeling is that we most come together and help out. But what we forget is to use the brain. Ask yourself the following two questions and if you answer those in what can only be construed as the only right answer, why the hell do you keep doing, voting and rooting for the non intelligent response?
Who will work the hardest and produce most: The one working for himself and for his own gain or the one who works for the common good of the state?
Who knows best how you should live your life: Is it you yourself or is it the public opinion?
The current economic crisis we have worldwide was created by governmental restrictions on the financial market and by governmental interventions on housing and consumer markets in several countries. This is a fact. Do you really think that we would have this crisis if you, the individual, decided how to work, were to put your money and how to live your life? The crisis has also reached very high grounds mainly thanks to huge governmental loans and the never ending printing of new money. Would you – or would anyone let you – keep borrowing money to pay off earlier debts and keep spending money on things you cannot afford? And governments already deeply in debt and having no real resources to take from, are loaning more money, printing more money and making enormous investments in order to get us out of this crisis. Would you do the same if you look at your own private economy or if it was regarding your company?
But the worst thing about all this is that it leads us further down the same path that got us into this mess in the first place. We are getting more restrictions, more regulations, higher taxes and greater loans upon loans to be paid by you and all your relatives in many generations to come. This crisis isn’t going to and cannot end, not even if they “halter” or “stop” this crisis temporally. The problem remains, now even worsened. And with low production capacity in regard to the rest of the economy and with so much money being flooded into the market this is going to be a spectacle of incomprehensible horror.

The last time we had a situation like this, we got to see the rise of the two main killing ideologies ever seen, National Socialism and communism. What do you think is going to happen this time? And if I’m right that this crisis soon turns into a depression and if I’m right that this most likely will be worse than anything before, what will happen then? How will the world look in 15 years from now? In my mind that’s not a pretty picture. And who is really responsible for this?
"It's really a wonder that I haven't dropped all my ideals because they seem so absurd and impossible to carry out. Yet I keep them because in spite of everything I still believe that people are good at heart. I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery, and death. I see the world gradually being turned into a wilderness. I hear the ever approaching thunder which will destroy us too; I can feel the suffering of millions and yet, if I looked up into the heavens I think that it will all come right, that this cruelty too will end and that peace and tranquility will return again."
/ Ann Frank’s diary
You are going to die! Part XXII
Did you know that tens of thousands of people worldwide die because of swine each year? I’m not talking about some minor flu thingy; I’m talking about the real threat from these retched creatures.
Fact is that any decent sized single pig or a group of smaller pigs, domestic or wild, can kill a person. According to government data in the USA and Canada alone approximately 40 people are killed each year by pigs – six times more than by sharks worldwide. Many are the tales how veracious swine’s have disemboweled and eaten unsuspected humans. One such tear dripping tale is about an Indian boy in Delhi 2006 who at the tender age of three only wanted to say hello to some of these assassin’s and got eaten in the process, leaving a grieving family behind. What most people do not suspect is that swine’s actually are omnivores and that they hunt together as well as dogs or other pack animals. Every pig pitches in in a fight. Pigs attack in several ways - they charge and slap their heads into the victim slicing it with their protruding tusks and/or cause a great deal of blunt trauma. They have powerful muscular necks and fight each other that way. They sometimes attack other things with by biting into them, often pinning the animal with a hoof or two front hooves and biting in with the front teeth. Another thing they do is get a protruding body part (ear, foot, etc) in their mouths and bite down, sometimes shearing it off with the immense bite pressure of their side teeth.
But this little story doesn’t end with direct murder, oh no, there is another, more subtle way these creatures kill us by the thousands each year, by being sneaky enough to let us eat them! Around 100 000 people dies from food poisoning each year, a vast number of these are contributed to pork meat. But it doesn’t stop there. Tens of thousands of people around the globe die each year from eating too much salty fatty meat clogging up arteries. Even if the cow probably is the main culprit in this case, one shouldn’t discard the plotting geniuses of the swine family.
I wonder if this makes Muslims smarter not eating bacon or if they are more stupid not helping the rest of us killing the swine's?

Great news from around the world
Argentina says economic growth slowed to an annual pace of 2.6 percent in February as the world economic crisis slashes demand for its exports.
South Korea's Samsung Electronics has reported a 72% drop in quarterly profits after more losses at its microchip and LCD television divisions.
News about corporate loans and bonds takers now also facing it harder and harder to repay, has got some economist in the US very worried. If the default levels they predict come into effect, it will be unprecedented maybe with the exception for the Great Depression. If this is the case the financial sector will soon collapse as well.
Hoping to raise money quickly for a new $500 billion emergency loan program, the International Monetary Fund is in the advanced stages of a plan to sell bonds for the first time in its history, officials for the group said Saturday.
