A semi scary doomsday blogger

The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, have gotten them a new blogger (http://blogg.aftonbladet.se/29422), Tom Arnbom, about climate change. Of course he is a biologist from WWF, World Wide Fund for Nature, and of course he claims that all scientists agree on the issue, with few exceptions.
I got news for you Tom, all scientist do agree on climate change, it is a reality. No one is disputing that the Earth has gone through climate changes before, is doing so today and always will. To even mention this fact is just stupid and only a way to direct attention from the real issue. Doomsday spokespersons like this “biologist” always start with stating this fact, like it is their main argument. Most of them hardly even mention anything else; instead they go direct to their “solution”, cutting back on energy use, stop using cars or whatever their indoctrination or employer tells them to sell to the public.

Here are some other facts for you Tom:

Fact 1:
There has historically been much more CO2 in our atmosphere than exists today. For example:
During the Jurassic Period (200 mya), average CO2 concentrations were about 1800 ppm or about 4.7 times higher than today.
The highest concentrations of CO2 during all of the Paleozoic Era occurred during the Cambrian Period, nearly 7000 ppm -- about 18 times higher than today.
The Carboniferous Period and the Ordovician Period were the only geological periods during the Paleozoic Era when global temperatures were as low as they are today. To the consternation of global warming proponents, the Late Ordovician Period was also an Ice Age while at the same time CO2 concentrations then were nearly 12 times higher than today-- 4400 ppm.

Fact 2:
Several renowned scientists have spoken out against this hoax. To mention a few we have the US Senate committee which has published several documents with many hundreds of scientist from all over the world arguing that they do not agree with the doomsday scenarios. You have websites like http://www.realclimate.org that has real and renowned scientists writing about the issue. And course there is: common sense!

Fact 3:
We have experienced several ice ages and many periods that were both warmer and colder than today. In the middle ages you could grow grapes in the middle of Sweden, something that’s impossible today without greenhouses.

Fact 4:
Pretty much every shift in the climate that has ever been (with the exceptions of big volcanoes erupting and a couple of asteroids hitting the Earth) is in perfect correlation with the amount of energy coming from the sun.


Global warming (or climate change) is nothing new; it is a part of life on this planet. And there is no proof, none whatsoever, that man is the cause of or have enhanced carbon dioxide or done anything else that enhances or started any of this. So those that claim that man as at fault are lying! There is no proof, there will never be any proof and these idiots are only there to scare you other idiots to stop using cars, or to tax them and similar things that’s just stupid. Tom, you are an idiot.
